ASCII maps converts Google's maps into matrix style ASCII art. What's really weird is the fact that I can see my street amongst all the noise. Maybe the matrix has me.

It's interesting to see that a link to download a patch on Microsoft's site links to https://thesource.ofallevil.com/. Microsoft.com and thesource.ofallevil.com resolve to the same IP, and there's even a certificate. 
These posters make absolutely no sense to me (yet), but they'd still make nice decorations.

Google Trends, the latest offering from Google labs, lets you see what the rest of the world is searching for. If you enter a word (tits for example), you’ll see that the most number of searches containing that word are from Manchester, Birmingham and Brentford, all in the UK 
The results are pretty suprising if you search for Sex. The places in the world where women are used as slaves get the most hits…

The Mozilla foundation have closed the Firefox Flicks competition because some of the entries were apparently being spread in a ‘viral’ manner. The site was a place where anyone could create and upload a firefox commercial. The best one was supposed to be chosen by Mozilla to run on TV.
Google have released a web-based calendar similar to 30boxes. It allows users to build a calendar and make events visible to certain people. You can also import your events from Outlook or other sites which use open calendar formats. Like everything else at Google, it’s a beta, but it looks promising. I’m struggling to find motiviation to carry on with iZeit.
